Shure PGA Drum Kit 7

The Shure PGA DRUMKIT 7 is a comprehensive drum microphone kit designed to capture the sound of a full drum kit in both live and studio environments. The kit includes seven dynamic microphones, each tailored for specific drum and percussion instruments. These typically include:One PGA52 kick drum microphone for capturing the low-end frequencies and punch of the kick drum.Three PGA56 snare/tom microphones for capturing the attack and resonance of snare drums and tom-toms.One PGA57 instrument microphone for capturing the sound of snare drums, toms, and other percussion instruments. Two PGA81 instrument microphones for capturing the detail and nuance of cymbals, hi-hats, and overheads. The microphones come with mounting accessories such as drum mounts and stand adapters, allowing for easy and secure attachment to various drum and percussion instruments. This ensures optimal positioning for capturing the desired sound. All microphones in the kit are dynamic, which makes them durable, versatile, and capable of handling high sound pressure levels. This makes them suitable for close-miking drums and percussion instruments without distortion or overload. The microphones typically feature cardioid polar patterns, which are most sensitive to sound from the front while rejecting sound from the sides and rear. This helps to isolate each drum or cymbal, minimize bleed from other instruments, and reduce feedback. Each microphone is designed with a tailored frequency response optimized for its specific drum or percussion instrument. This ensures accurate and natural sound reproduction, capturing the nuances and character of each instrument. The microphones feature XLR connectors, providing compatibility with a wide range of audio interfaces, mixers, and recording devices. This allows for easy integration into existing sound systems and setups. The kit typically includes a durable carrying case for safe storage and transport of the microphones and accessories. This helps to protect the equipment from damage during travel and ensures that everything stays organized and accessible.
