Description
A floor tom leg bracket is a hardware component used to attach floor tom legs to the drum shell securely. Floor tom leg brackets are typically made of metal, such as steel or aluminum, to provide durability and stability. They are designed to withstand the weight of the floor tom and the force of drumming without bending or breaking. The bracket is designed to attach to the bottom of the floor tom drum shell, providing a mounting point for the floor tom legs. It usually consists of a plate with holes for attaching the legs and may include additional reinforcement for added strength. The bracket features multiple mounting holes or slots to accommodate different leg configurations and drum sizes. These holes allow drummers to adjust the angle and position of the legs for optimal stability and balance. Floor tom leg brackets typically come with the necessary attachment hardware, such as screws or bolts, for securing them to the drum shell. Some brackets may also include wing nuts or other fasteners for easy installation and adjustment. It's essential to ensure that the floor tom leg bracket is compatible with your drum's shell size and configuration. Check the diameter and spacing of the mounting holes to ensure a proper fit with your drum's hardware. Floor tom leg brackets are often sold individually or in sets, depending on the drum manufacturer and model. Some drum kits may come with brackets included, while others may require separate purchase.
