Description
The Fane Colossus 12XB Naked Speaker is a high-performance loudspeaker designed for professional audio applications. Fane is renowned for its quality speakers, and the Colossus 12XB is no exception. The "Naked" designation usually indicates that it's designed for open-back enclosures, making it suitable for guitar and bass cabinets where you want a more raw, uncolored sound. The 12XB refers to its 12-inch diameter size, which is a common size for guitar and bass speakers. This size strikes a balance between low-end response and midrange clarity, making it versatile for various musical styles. The Colossus 12XB is intended for use in compact bass cabinet or horn loaded applications. The driver can also be used in two-way ported enclosures combined with Fane compression driver and horn offering excellent coverage with clear detailed reproduction. The unit features die cast chassis with long throw motor system and high linearity suspension allowing fast solid bass reproduction at high-power levels.
