Description
- 100 Watt Solar Panel: Captures sunlight and converts it into Direct Current (DC) electricity. In optimal conditions, it typically produces around 300 to 400 Watt-hours (Wh) of energy per day.
- 100Ah Kitali Battery: A 12-volt sealed, maintenance-free deep cycle gel/AGM battery. It has a total storage capacity of 1,200 Watt-hours (12V x 100Ah).
- What it can power:
- Multiple energy-efficient LED bulbs (for 6–10 hours).
- Charging several smartphones and a laptop.
- Running a small DC television or a low-wattage fan.
- Charging Time: Because a 100W panel produces a modest amount of current (about 5.5 Amps max), it will take roughly 2 to 3 days of full, uninterrupted sunlight to charge a depleted 100Ah battery to full capacity. To safely use and connect this setup, you will need a charge controller (to protect the battery from overcharging) and a power inverter (if you plan to run standard AC household electronics).
